So we lost again, big whoop, wanna fight about it? But oh well. At least it was great fun. I ran around with Matt (the trumpet Matt) doing random crap in the band hall for a few minutes before running around doing random crap outside for a few minutes.
Remind me to do one of those tests for extra credit in McKee's class by tomorrow. This weekend is going to rock, because I have nothing to do.

And I've been depressed since last night because I lost 40 points in TopCoder. (Still 1 point higher than I was 2 weeks ago, but still...)
Whoo. Over 1000 hits. And I spent all day at the middle school all-district band. Kind of a boring day, but history sucked, as usual. So, I'm sitting here and doing nothing and relaxing.
My dad has a job interview tomorrow. And I've said that a lot, but this one is actually pretty hopeful, because he had 3 interviews back with this company (Fusion Labs) 6 months ago, and they decided not to hire anyone... but now he's the only one they called back, so... if you're a religious person, pray for us.

What an embarrassing sectional. Maybe I should practice the region music. Just a thought.
Reading that damned Adventurers! webcomic. I read 800 of them in 2 days. And I don't know why, because it's not the best one I've ever seen, but still I press on. I'm just obsessive compulsive that way.
I think I'll work on the clan site some more now, and then do some homework (all of which is late, so I'd have no homework if I wasn't lazy earlier... damn me)
I did some work on the soldat clan site. Maybe I'll add the link to it to my little sidebar there. And I'll take my poll down, because everyone's voted. I still recommend making one of your own; I spent a few hours on that poll system thing.
Oh well, life's a bitch, and then you get some candy, and then you die.

I was watching the news earlier today, and Peter Jennings (of ABC) mentioned something about Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld... and I got to thinking... why did we change the title from Secretary of War to Secretary of Defense? I guess they're trying to trick us into thinking that all military actions on the part of the U.S. are taken in the act of self-defense. What a bunch of crap. It's this kind of garbage that makes me hate the government. But maybe I'm being overreactive.

Well, I participated in another TopCoder contest tonight, even leaving tole house early to do it... and I did horribly. Despite that, I still gained 41 points for my rating, so it's all good. Too bad I spent all day sleeping, then tole house, then topcoder, then soldat. Another wasted day...
Well, I guess my whole life is just a series of wasted days, anyway.

How vain we are to think that anyone gives a damn about our daily misadventures.
So here's what I did today.

We sucked at our band competition today. But who cares. Well, I do, but... who cares about whether or not I care.

Home from school. And no band afterschool for once. But then we have a game tonight. So it's a double-edged sword. And I like using dependent clauses.
I think I'll start downloading the HL2 beta now.

I was counting on the rain, damn it. But we did get a lot better. And I got sockets to work yesterday. So I'm doing pretty good. The wrong usage of grammar was intentional, let me tell you, okay.

But then the newest band I listen to avidly started in like 1994... so there you go.
Whoo. After Ac Dec, I just went to sleep. Until 6:00 this morning. THen I had to go to band. So... gay.
Now I have to put up with more crap and homework and what not. Also I have a major headache. Life is gay.
Sockets aren't working out, so... installing Generals.
Oh yeah, and there's a topcoder thing at 8. But I don't know if I can register because I'm not 18. We'll see.
Well, I just got back from a rather good day at school, full of nothing but goofing around pretty much. Computer science was fun, as I goofed around for 30 minutes, wrote some quick linked list code, and then watched the q3asdf team for a while.
Then I went to English where we listened to The Crucible audio tapes... that's screwed up. And I had to avoid Mrs. Naugher's eyes because I didn't do my personal narrative.
Then it was to Japanese, where we learned a bunch of Kanji and things and talked so much that Mrs. Makita threatened to leave. So that was weird.
Then to Ac-Dec where we did a whole bunch of super quiz nothingness. And soon to Tole House where we'll do even more nothingness. I'm working on some socket code for my game now, then I'll get home and possibly do some homework or maybe install Generals if I'm feeling sick of homework.
Well, I hope you enjoyed some content for once. It should happen a bit more, as I mock/steal Will's blog style of explaining anything and everything.
Unfortunately, I don't really have enough content to post here. So I'll just rant.
Actually, not enough rants... so I'll just give up now.
Oh no! I almost missed a blog day! Good thing I'm observant. I spent a few hours practicing for TopCoder, but that's about it. I hope we do well at the contest tomorrow, though I know we won't.
